What is a Gulfside screen printed heat transfer? (Top)
A screen printed heat transfer is plastisol ink screen printed on a special release paper by a professional screen printer (Gulfside) who specializes in screen printing plastisol heat transfers.
Does Gulfside Heat Transfers screen print plastisol heat transfers? (Top)
Yes! Gulfside has been screen printing plastisol heat transfers for 33 years. Our transfer department team has more than 150 years of combined plastisol heat transfer printing experience.
What types of garments can I apply Gulfside plastisol heat transfers on? (Top)
Gulfside Hot Peel Transfers will adhere on 100% cotton and 50%cotton/50% polyester T-Shirts, garments and apparel. *Gulfside Elasti-Soft® Transfers can be applied on any garment color and are ideal for application on polyester, poly mesh, poly/cotton, 100% cotton and non-woven fabrics.
Can I apply Gulfside hot peel plastisol heat transfers on synthetic fabrics? (Top)
No! Gulfside Hot Peel Transfers will not adhere if applied on 100% polyester, nylon, rayon, performance fabrics, wicking fabrics synthetic blends or fabrics the have been treated with water repellents or UPF-UV sun protection inhibitors. *Gulfside Elasti-Soft Transfers will adhere to polyester, poly mesh, poly/cotton 100% cotton and non-woven fabrics. Always test before you press an order!
How many shirts can I make with each Gulfside heat transfer? (Top)
One shirt per transfer. Once a plastisol transfer is pressed it cannot used again.
How do Gulfside plastisol heat transfers feel after it is applied? (Top)
When applied properly, Gulfside Hot Peel & Elasti-Soft® Transfers are soft to the touch, and feel similar to garments that have been direct screen printed with plastisol ink
Washability – Do Gulfside plastisol heat transfers hold up after several washings? (Top)
Yes! When properly applied Gulfside screen printed plastisol heat transfers usually last longer than the garments they were applied on. We do however recommend washing the garment inside out and in cold water to prevent garment fibers from peeling away from the garment. Fiber peeling causes the imprint to fade regardless of how the garment was printed, heat transfer or direct screen.
Can I use my home iron to apply Gulfside plastisol heat transfers? (Top)
No! Professional or Commercial heat presses, ONLY!

What file formats work best for screen printing Gulfside plastisol heat transfers? (Top)
Original vector file formats. VECTOR ART that has been created in Adobe Illustrator-Creative Cloud or older or CorelDraw Version X6 or Older (We cannot except files from other vector based programs) Art created in Adobe Illustrator must be saved as AI, EPS, PDF or SVG file format. Art created in CorelDraw must be saved as a CDR file. All fonts must be converted to curves/outlines.
Can your art department create a vector image for me? (Top)
Yes! We have a full staff of experienced illustrators and production artists that can create single or multi-color vector designs from a pencil sketch, low-resolution bitmap files, old t-shirts, old transfers, clip art, photographs, business cards and faxes. However, our artist are not mind readers, they cannot create your design without some type of visual reference.

How long does it take to get a quote? (Top)
Once we receive your online quote request for Gulfside screen printed plastisol heat transfers, our art department must review the information and files submitted before a quote can before a quote can be prepared. Your sales representative will email you a formal quote that is good for 30 days, within two business days of receipt.
What is your start to finish turnaround time? (Top)
If you supply useable “output ready” art files your order will be printed and shipped in 3 working days from day of receipt.
What is your shipping policy? (Top)
All orders are shipped from Port Richey, FL 34668 via UPS Ground unless otherwise specified. No credit card transaction fees, however you will be charged for shipping, UPS F.O.B. unless other arrangement have been made in advance. *UPS Ground shipping maps illustrate the number of transit days for a UPS delivery from our door to yours.
