Each link will connect you to a page that has useful information about ordering heat transfers. Review each page and when you’re ready, choose your transfer type, fill out the order form, attach your artwork, click submit and we will do the rest!

What are screen printed heat transfers? + Screen printed transfers (also known as plastisol heat transfers) are single or multi-color images that have been screen printed onto special release papers by a professional screen printer (us) who specializes in screen printing phthalate-free plastisol heat transfers.

Do you screen print plastisol heat transfers? + Yes! We screen print phthalate-free plastisol heat transfers that can be applied on 100% cotton, 50% cotton 50% polyester, 100% polyester, polyester blends, tri-blends, polyester mesh, Spandex®, elastane and non-woven fabrics (also known as polypropylene). Our heat transfer team has more than 150 years of combined heat transfer printing experience.

What types of garments can I apply plastisol heat transfers on? + Our plastisol heat transfers can be applied on Burn-out T-shirts, Combed Cotton T-shirts, Organic Cotton T-shirts, Hemp Shirts, Pigment Dyed T-shirts, Sweatshirts/Sweatpants, Hoodies, PE Uniforms, Polo Shirts, Athletic Jerseys, Mesh Jerseys, Work Uniforms, Scrubs, Moisture Wicking Shirts/Shorts, Exercise Apparel, Superhero Outfits, Swimwear, Compression Suits/Wraps, Hot/Cold Therapeutic Wraps, Caps, Drawstring Bags, Promotional Totes, Burlap Bags, Hemp Bags, Bamboo Bags, Trade Show Totes, Grocery Store Bags, Beach Bags, Koozies and more…

Can I apply hot peel heat transfers onto synthetic fabrics? + No! Hot Peel transfers will not adhere to synthetic fabrics; however, our Elasti-Soft®, Elasti-Stretch®, Tagless Label, and Player Number plastisol heat transfers will.

How many shirts can I make with each heat transfer? + You can decorate one shirt, garment, cap, bag or item per transfer. Once a plastisol heat transfer is pressed it cannot be used again.

How do plastisol heat transfers feel after applied? + When applied properly, transfers are soft to the touch and feel similar to garments that have been directly screen printed with plastisol ink.

Washability – Do plastisol heat transfers hold up after several washings? + Yes! Our screen printed transfers are durable and can withstand dozens of wash/dry cycles. It is always best to follow the care instructions on the garment label. Do not use bleach, do not iron over the transfer image and do not dry clean. When properly applied and properly laundered, screen printed heat transfers usually last longer than the garment they were applied on.

Can I use my home iron to apply plastisol heat transfers? + No! You need a well-made Professional or Commercial grade heat transfer press ONLY!

Is it important to follow the enclosed heat transfer pressing instructions? + Yes! It is important to always follow the heat transfer pressing instruction sheet enclosed with your heat transfer order. If you are experiencing application problems, STOP PRESSING and read our troubleshooting tutorial or call us immediately at (727) 261-9000 or email us.

What art file formats work best for screen printing plastisol heat transfers? + ACCEPTABLE CUSTOMER SUPPLIED “PRINT READY” VECTOR ART FILES are created in ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR – Creative Cloud (or older), or CORELDRAW VERSION X6 (or older). Vector Art must be submitted in one of the following file extensions: AI, EPS, *PDF, SVG or CDR. Convert Adobe Illustrator fonts to outlines. Convert CorelDraw fonts to curves. *Once your text has been converted it can no longer be edited. A visual reference (JPG) of your artwork is required. *Your PDF has to be saved from a vector program to be true vector PDF. Can your art department create a “Print Ready” vector image for me? + Yes! We have a full staff of experienced illustrators and production artists that can create single or multi-color vector designs from a pencil sketch, low- resolution bitmap file, old transfers, clip art, match book covers, business cards, faxes and more… However our artists, unfortunately, do not read minds, and therefore cannot create your logo or design without some type of visual reference supplied by you. *Additional art charges may apply – ask you sales rep for details

What is your start to finish turnaround time? + STAND TURN-A-ROUND TIME
3 business days – Your turnaround time begins when we receive and ok your “Print Ready” vector art file or after you have ok’d your final art proof. All orders received after 2:00 PM EST, Monday – Friday will be processed the next day. RUSH SERVICES
We will always do our best to accommodate your custom heat transfer needs. Rush Service is only available for those customers who can supply “Print Ready” vector art. Rush orders must be placed before 10:30 AM EST. Our service charge for rush orders is $50.00 per color, 25 sheet minimum.

What is your shipping policy? + SHIPPING
Shipping is not included in the transfer price
UPS shipping costs are based on package dimension, weight, shipping zone, and fuel surcharge
All Custom Heat Transfer Orders are shipped UPS Ground (Standard) F.O.B. Port Richey, Florida. If you prefer to use a different carrier or require a faster shipping method, please indicate your preference at the time of the order.
Customers who have an account with UPS may opt to use their UPS account number for billing.
UPS Ground Service C.O.D. charge is $14.50/box – currency is not accepted by the driver.
UPS will not deliver to P.O. boxes
If your transfers were damaged or lost during shipping, please submit a claims report to UPS Damaged Package Claims Process at once.
The UPS software we use automatically emails you a tracking number for your convenience.

HANDLING CHARGE Our handling charge is $3.00 per package/box. RETURNS
Returns are not accepted without prior authorization from Gulfside Heat Transfers.
Returns, if warranted, will be charged back to the original form of payment used for the purchase
Transfer orders may be returned by the carrier of your choice at your expense. We strongly recommend using a carrier that can provide tracking information to ensure delivery. We are not responsible for lost returns.
Shipping/handling fees of the original purchase are non-refundable.
